Hello Everyone,

This is the Three Graces Fashion Thread. Have you ever seen a picture of the girls individually or together and just have to know how to recreate the look? Well here is the place to share information and tips to get the look.

To start off I love Joy’s hair is this picture!
Three Graces Fashion Joy

I love the ringlets. So I attempted to recreate the look. Here’s what I did, first I start with clean dry hair. Then I spray Aussie Aussome Volume Hairspray on the ends of my dry hair. Next I put my hair in rollers. I use the Velcro hot rollers. My hair is fine and doesn’t hold curl well, but the hairspray and the Velcro help it to stay curled. I leave in the rollers until cool. About 10-15 min. Then I take out the curlers and let hair hang in place for a min. longer. I don’t run my fingers through my hair yet. After my hair has set for a few more seconds I finger comb my hair and style. I use the Aussie Aussome Volume hairspray to set my hair for all day. This hairspray is the best for people whose hair doesn’t hold curl well or lives in a humid environment, like me. This is the best hairspray I’ve found. Just don’t spray too much or your hair will get hard and sticky.
Well, it didn't turn out exactly like Joy's, but it was fun to try.

Makeup tips and info about products to come!! Smile

Karen

Here are some makeup tips I got from Kelly.

Use makeup brushes! I asked Kelly how to get her look and she replied that she uses Sephora brushes to put on her makeup. I had never used brushes before. I just used the little brush that came with the eye shadow or blush. Since I don't have a Sephora near me, I went to Clinique and bought their brushes. What a difference that makes! It's like you have brand new makeup. Smile Kelly also said she liked Christian Dior mascara. I haven't found the Christian Dior mascara, but I found a great mascara from Benefit. It's called Bad Gal Lash. It makes your lashes look like you have false lashes on and it doesn't clump or feel heavy (which I love).
These are just a few tips. Hopefully the girls will be able to share more in the future. And if you have any tips or ideas please feel free to share. I love trying new things!
Or if you have a picture where you love one of Joy, Kelly, or Sara's outfits and want to replicate, please let us know.
Karen

Hi Karen,
Can you ask Joy how she keeps her curly hair from getting the Frizzies?

Thanks ana.luisa for finding this. I love her makeup ideas. I also like the smokey eye look and the nude lips to go with it. Smile

hi Girls... flower

Karen, thanks for starting this one... Very Happy it's gonna be fun chatting about girly things... hehehehhe

Thanks for the tips and videos so far girls... not really sure I can do all of that each single morning, but I'll try...

As for my contribution:

* NEVER go to bed with make up on... and actually it'd be better if you do not wear make up at all... Wink

* But yes, as Kel told Karen... definitely brushes... Very Happy looks more natural, and you use just the needed make up.. no excess that looks "not-nice"...

* As for skin care, I totally recommend Galderma products! http://www.galderma.com/ Very Happy
The "soap" they have is extremely soft and really balances your skin. And the creams and Shampoo are great too... The principal places now are France, Montrèal, and Brazil... but they were for a while in Texas so if you're at the states, I'm sure you can get them.

* Eyelashes... Very Happy before going to bed, try putting some Vaseline (the "baby" one), or a cream containing Aloe... just a little bit, and the day after you'll see how easy they curl, they stay like that the whole day, and look pretty... you wouldn't need to wear mascara if you are "allergic" to it... (I am... lol... can only wear the clear one)

* Suuuuuunscreen... Shocked

* The hair... cheers if you use those cream-like things to keep your hair as you want... then brush it, put the cream, and DO NOT touch you hair again... Shocked if you use mousse then you should dry it so it looks shiner... Very Happy and never tie your hair when it is wet... not a good idea... it looses its shine...

I'll think of something else... Wink and will come back later...
